An employment lawyer with a focus on client care.
Victoria is responsible for developing several of the added-value services offered by Knights 1759. This includes meeting with clients to understand their legal concerns, future needs and opportunities, monitoring future legislation and case law to plan our programme of educational seminars, webinars and client updates. She designs and facilitates employment law training courses for clients and the public and has created a suite of employment law webinars for subscribers to our Total Employment Solution service. Victoria also coordinates training events on broader corporate and commercial issues and represents the corporate team within the Oxfordshire business community.
Victoria is a Safer Recruitment trainer, accredited by the Children's Workforce Development Council and recognised by Ofsted, she provides training for schools on issues relating to safeguarding, discrimination, equality and diversity in recruitment.
Recent examples of courses developed by Victoria have covered:
- women in the workplace and the gender pay gap;
- dealing with sickness absence;
- employment considerations when protecting intellectual property; and
- effective recruitment and retention.
